Sherwoods Auto Parts Ltd states that this purchase is warranted for a period of 90 days from invoice date unless otherwise stated on invoice. Any defects in this product will be dealt with on a replacement and/ or repair basis. If we cannot replace the defective part a refund will be issued.

 

Sherwoods Auto Parts Ltd. shall not assume responsibility for damages, labor costs, or any expenses such as towing, emergency road service, lodging or related expenses- directly or indirectly at any time during or after installation of any or all parts sold.

 

Returned parts must be accompanied by the original sales receipt and returned within 30 days from the date of sale. All refunds will be issued the same way as payment received (ie cash, debit or credit). Sherwoods Auto Parts Ltd. states that special order parts, or body sections cut to order are NOT returnable. Parts must be in teh same condition as when sold.

 

All returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge.

 

No refunds on electrical parts.

 

Charge Terms: Net 30 days from statement date. Interest charged at 2% per month (24% per annum)

It is the customer's responsibility to check all parts and accessories prior to install. We recommend that whenever appropriate new oil seals and filters are installed in engines, transmissions, transaxles and differentials. We do not guarantee against oil leaks.

 

Engines are guaranteed to be in good operating condition with reasonable limits of specifications, i.e. oil pressure, compression, and oil consumption. While most cases we sell our engines complete all we are charging for and the customer is paying for, is the block assembly with heads. We leave accessories such as water pumps, distributor, coil pack,fuel injection pump,and vacuum pump and/ or exhaust manifolds attached for your convenience and to make installation easier. Unless specifcally written on the invoice these above mentioned parts are NOT covered for warranty with an engine sale. All wiring harnesses must be changed, your original harnesses and sensors must be used or warranty will be void.

 

Differentials should be installed with new axle seals; any brake parts left on teh sasembly are for the customer's conveniences and are not covered under our differential warranty.

 

Sherwoods Auto Parts Ltd. affirmatively states that "used auto parts and merchandise may have safety hazards and or defects attached to their use whether or actual latent." It is the customer's sole responsibility to determine if any hazard or other defects exists with the use of any part provided by us through inspection and consultation of an expert prior to installation.
